Recent gestures from class

I thought I’d post some of my recent gestures from drawing class. My teacher says I’m trying too hard to make them look like figures at this point. I guess I’m just a little rusty since it’s been a year since I last had figure drawing. I feel like I can see some progress.

Student Work- Winter 2011

I haven’t been keeping up with this blog since I’ve been busy with school. Now between quarters, I thought it would be a good time to catch up. Here are some things fromlast year, Winter 2011. I took the basic drawing class.

Ostrich and Alligator Masks- finished

What I did this Summer. Masks. After an irking morning of getting this simple yet dissapointing picture up mobily, I think I have to admit to myself that an iphone is not going to be the best piece of photography equipment for a professional artist. One more thing on the wishlist. Until then I bet I know who I can finegal a better camera from . . .
